Women Empowerment
Mandate Training has a policy of subcontracting with highly qualified experts in their field, mainly women, including historically disadvantaged individuals. All of our specialist facilitators own their own businesses and are trained, licensed and contracted to work with Mandate Training on a profit sharing basis. This ranges from 20% to 50% of profits, depending on their contribution to the project.
Black Empowerment
Mandate Training embraces, and is committed to the transformation process as defined in the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act No 53 of 2003 (BBBEE) and the Codes of Good Practice issued in terms of this Act. In terms of the criteria currently set to identify the size of business (and hence qualifying how a business should be rated in terms of BBBEE), we are a Qualifying Small Enterprise.
In order to address the company’s need for equity in ownership, Mandate Training works in association with Mandate-Molefi on joint projects as Mandate Molefi is a 100% black owned company on a profit sharing basis. In addition we have a Memorandum of Understanding with Binda Business Enterprises. These relationships allow Mandate Training to offer its clients a diversity of interventions.
Procurement Policy
It is our policy to buy both services and products from the best, most competitive service providers, while bearing in mind the economic empowerment of Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMME). To this end, we contract with black empowered service providers and with diverse black and white professional consultants, all of whom run their own small businesses.
